Where our community's giving goes.

Our projects turn fundraising into something you can point to — a renovated room, a gentler patient experience, a stronger province.

2025 Health careCompleted goal

Cancer-centre waiting area, Regina General Hospital

Through our 2025 Pakistan Night, the community came together to fund the renovation of the waiting area in the cancer treatment centre at Regina General Hospital.

The waiting room is where families sit through some of their most anxious hours. Our goal was simple: make that space warmer, calmer and more dignified — a small comfort at a hard time, given by the whole Pakistani community to every Saskatchewan family who will use it.

MRI SIM — a gentler path to the scanner

Our 2026 project sets its sights on an MRI simulator (“MRI SIM”): a true-to-life practice scanner that helps patients prepare for the real thing.

An MRI can be loud, tight and frightening — especially for children and anxious patients — and fear often means sedation or cancelled scans. A simulator lets patients rehearse the sights and sounds in a calm setting first, reducing anxiety, sedation and delays. It's exactly the kind of quiet, practical improvement our community loves to back.

This project is in early planning. Details, partners and fundraising targets will be shared as they're confirmed — sign up to our newsletter to follow along.
